But one day I was fascinated by the symphony of copper, its unique harmony in light and shadow, which led me to an adventure full of excitement and research that I am in now. The look of this material is amazing. Its contribution to human health is great. It is unbelievable that it is inherited centuries later. Its antique look is very inspiring. You can do a lot of things you can think of with it. As such, I convinced my son A.Can to help me with designs, to manage marketing and our brand; finally we are now on etsy.com.
As CopperEmpire, we design, produce, photograph, package and ship all our handmade products ourselves. Since we work with a superhuman effort and effort from the beginning to the end, I can easily say that; since each product we produce consists entirely of nature's art on copper, it can never be repeated and each product is only one in the world. To give an example from the Patina Copper Wall Clocks we produce, it takes up to totally 18 hours of labor to produce only one product, and it takes 7 to 21 days for nature to show its art on copper and the patina texture to form. Afterwards, as a result of careful, meticulous workmanship and long work, we give copper its final appearance. After this stage, we apply protective material, reinforcing material and high quality varnish and wait 3-5 days for the material to strengthen and become identified with copper. In the final stage, we assemble and test our wall clocks and pack them. We make protective styrofoam and handmade packaging for CopperEmpire, which we only use in our wall clocks, and pack them in a wooden clock box; even this packaging alone takes between 40 and 50 minutes. So the bottom line is, when you wish to get something from CopperEmpire, you can be sure that there is a lot of hard work and effort behind every product you buy.
